Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation, and enquiry details you provide. We do not ask for, and you should not include, secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal or production data in a first message.

When you browse the site, our analytics collect standard, largely aggregated technical information such as pages visited, referrer, and approximate location and device type. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Contact information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and to follow up about it. Analytics information is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our open-source packages (including zansn and its framework adapters) run locally on your own machine or in your own environment. They contain no account, no telemetry, and no phone-home, and they do not transmit any data to Zansn Labs. What they produce, an evidence pack, stays with you.

We use a small number of reputable providers to run the site and respond to enquiries. Each processes only what is needed for its function:

• Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly analytics and performance metrics.
• Resend delivers contact-form enquiries to us by email.
• PostHog provides product analytics and error monitoring; traffic is routed through our own domain and configured to respect privacy signals.
• Cloudflare routes email for our domain, and Vercel BotID provides bot protection on the contact form.

Some providers may process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle information responsibly.

We keep contact information only as long as needed to respond to and manage your enquiry, and to meet any legal or record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

We use only the minimal storage needed for the site and our first-party analytics to function. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct it, or request that we delete it. You may also raise a privacy concern with us. To do any of these, contact us through our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including transport encryption and bot protection on the contact form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
